Electro Optics is Europe's original photonics title for business and applications, and was acquired by Europa Science early in 2003. The magazine is celebrating 42 years of publishing in 2010 and benefits from continual investment in design, circulation and editorial coverage.

Editorial policy

Electro Optics is a magazine, not an academic or research journal, meaning we publish feature articles and not research papers etc. Our general policy for feature articles is that they are all written in-house or by one of our regular freelance contributors, and we do not accept by-lined features from suppliers, PR companies and so on. Those seeking editorial coverage in a feature should consult the editorial features list (in our Media Pack) and contact the editor accordingly.

The editor regularly sends out an email a few weeks’ prior to editorial deadlines with more details of the features in an upcoming issue and how to get involved. If you would like to be included on the distribution of this email, please contact the editor at editor.electro@europascience.com.

Relevant news and product press releases are welcomed and should be sent by email only to editor.electro@europascience.com, and to no other address. Any material submitted is included solely at the editor’s discretion, and may be edited for length and style. Our own editorial house style may differ from your own. For example, company and product names are published without trademark or copyright symbols, and with an initial capital letter and lower case thereafter.
