Job Description

My client, who is a world leading designer and manufacturer of precision scientific optics, now seeks a further Software Engineer to join their growing team.  

The successful candidate will be experienced in Matlab and Python and be able to show a strong understanding of mathematical modelling.

Person Specification

Labview skills would also be an advantage 

Working within my clients optical manufacturing and development group, you will develop software control and monitoring systems specifically related to atmospheric modelling and optical aberration modelling. 

As expected you should therefore have a strong understanding of atmospheric modelling as well as optical aberration modelling. 

As an individual you should have a strong drive to develop world leading systems, along with a strong focus on detail and a strong understanding of other software and engineering disciplines.
