Job Description

Due to continued expansion, my client who is a leading manufacturer and distributor of high performance photonics and machine vision products now requires a further Sales Engineer. 

Ideally you will be education to degree level or similar, and have worked in the Photonics, Machine Vision or Medical Imaging Industries. You will be selling to a diverse range of markets, and be servicing clients in both the UK and Europe. 

Person Specification

Based at my clients offices in Essex, the role will be split between supporting existing customers, as well as developing new leads and identifying new markets, and applications. 

It is expected that you will actively take part in customer meeting, technical meetings, as well as attending trade shows and similar. As well as working with internal sales and engineering to meet the needs of the customer, you will also take responsibility for identifying, defining and developing new accounts/business opportunities. 

The successful candidate will be a team player, with an adaptable approach and the ability to work on your own initiative. As well as having the drive and ambition to meet and exceed sales targets, it is expected that you will have to motivation and experience to work remotely with little supervisor
