Job Description

Pacer International Ltd is a manufacturer and distributor of optoelectronic and photonic products and information displays. We are seeking an experienced and motivated technical sales professional from within the Lasers, Optics, Detectors and Imaging sector.

Depending upon your experience the role may also involve team and business leadership of a team of Sales Professionals.

This exciting and challenging role will involve managing existing clients, as well as pioneering new market areas for Pacer. A proven, professional and technical solution sales person, you will work with clients who range from SMEs to major Blue Chips in the Defence, Scientific Instrumentation, Telecommunications and Biomedical sectors. You will need to be capable of managing the demands of the technically diverse range of products within the Lasers & Detectors Division such as Diode Lasers, Spectrometers, Photon Counting Modules and other Electro-Optics components and sub-assemblies. Additionally, you will identify and convert opportunities for adding value to bespoke requirements via the Pacer design team. The role demands the achievement of targets and provision of punctual data to management. A degree of domestic overnight and international travel will also be required.

The candidate will be required to operate within a broad territory, that is flexible and can be built around their skill set and current experience in certain markets. A highly competitive salary plus bonus, generous car allowance and benefits package is offered.
