Krell Technologies has introduced the Radian System for processing bare optical fibres. Fibres can be polished at user selectable angles for R&D applications and production. A real-time video system actively monitors the polishing process from start to finish and permits the in-line viewing of the polished fibre to insure surface quality. Adapters are available for a variety of fibre types and diameters. PM fibre can also be aligned and polished.
