Empire Precision Plastics, a manufacturer of high volume injection moulded opaque parts and optics, will discuss its optical design, fabrication and assembly capabilities.

Empire Precision manufactures lenses and systems for a wide range of military, medical, commercial and consumer applications, including LED lighting systems, imaging, scanning and detection. The company offers a variety of in-house optical manufacturing capabilities including tooling, single point diamond turning, rapid prototyping, injection moulding and thin-film optical coating. Empire also provides clean room assembly of optic and opaque components as well as electro-optical systems. Last year, Empire acquired passive infrared lens fabrication equipment formerly owned by Orafol Display Optics, further expanding its ability to serve the optics market.
