Hamamatsu will introduce its latest range of high reliability, key components for lidar such as pulsed laser diodes and photosensors including PDs, APDs and SiPMs. The company will also introduce the new near-infrared enhanced SiPM, with more than 3x the sensitivity of a conventional SiPM at 905nm wavelength, which is a key technology for the future of lidar.

Lidar is a key technology for automated driving as well as anti-collision applications today. A lidar device makes a time of flight (TOF) measurement using a pulsed light source and detector to determine the distance to objects around the vehicle.

Visit Hamamatsu at booth 303 hall A2 and discover the latest products from Hamamatsu for lidar and many other applications.
