At booth C20 Photonis will be informing attendees about Cricket, its plug and play adaptor designed to convert any scientific camera into an intensified camera that is capable of capturing images across a broad spectral range of 200-900nm. Connecting the adaptor is simply done via a universal C-mount interface. Simply adjust the fine focus and begin.

In addition to providing an intensified image, Cricket can also convert UV and NIR photons into green photons with emission characteristics that perfectly match the spectral response of a solid-state camera. High 3ns temporal resolution can be achieved using an optional gating module, with Cricket also capable of supporting 1μlx sensitivity or single photon counting.

The Cricket is compatible with most CCD, CMOS, EMCCD and sCMOS cameras, and is ideal for a large number of applications including physics research, FLIM, plasma research and corona detection.
