Fibre laser provides gap-free tuning

SuperK’s Chromatune is a new laser that provides gap-free tuning from 400-1000 nm. Due to its extremely broad tuning range and constant 1 mW output power, the SuperK Chromatuneis ready to cover your applications in microscopy, spectroscopy, fluorescence, lifetime imaging, optical characterisation, and plasmonics and metamaterials.

QuiX Quantum announces quantum light sources

QuiX Quantum, the market leader in photonic quantum computing hardware, has announced a new product line of quantum photonic processors, which are compatible with quantum light sources in the near-infrared wavelength range (900-970 nm), including InGaAs quantum dots.

This product line complements QuiX Quantum’s existing offerings of quantum photonic processors at telecom wavelength, and near-term quantum computers. The processor offers the record specifications that have become a hallmark of QuiX Quantum’s devices.

MVfemto laser module from Flexpoint

The Flexpoint MVfemto laser module delivers an output power of up to 100mW and fulfills all the requirements of laser classes 1 or 2 respectively. Measuring only 40mm in length and 8mm in diameter it is ideally suited for small spaces, such as 3d sensor applications. It is the smallest machine vison laser on the market.  It has the option of a variety of focus options which are fixed at the factory combined with a choice of 9 different fan angles.

iPMSEL array

Hamamatsu Photonics has announced the release of its high-density integration technology for chip-scale light sources, the company has also created an iPMSEL (integrable Phase Modulating Surface Emitting Laser) array that emits laser beams in various freely switchable patterns
