The dynamic beam laser is an emerging solution in the field of welding. It offers unparalleled capabilities in shaping and adjusting the laser beam on-the-fly. Using this technology, the intensity distribution can be modulated and allows precise control of the melt pool.

This FREE webinar is designed to provide insights into dynamic beam laser welding, to help you understand the latest advancements in laser welding techniques, provide insights into the unique capabilities of dynamic beam lasers, and offer practical tips for enhancing welding efficiency and quality. It will also demonstrate how Civan Lasers can help you to leverage this technology for precise welding applications.

Who should attend this webinar?

The webcast targets professionals in the electro-optics and manufacturing sectors, such as laser systems engineers, manufacturing engineers, product development engineers, R&D scientists, application engineers, and anyone else looking for insights into dynamic beam laser welding.

Speaker

Dr. Robert Bernhard
Application Lab and Branch Manager, Civan Lasers

Dr. Robert Bernhard

Robert Bernhard studied mechanical engineering at Clausthal University of Technology, graduating as Master of Science in 2018. In October 2018, Robert Bernhard joined the Laser Zentrum Hannover e.V. as a scientific employee, and in 2021, he started heading up the Additive Manufacturing - Metals Group. In January 2023, he completed his doctorate on the topic of “Process development for Additive Manufacturing of multi material compounds" at TU Clausthal. He now works as an Application Lab and Branch Manager at Civan Lasers Europe in Hannover. There, he specialises in the development of laser welding processes using dynamic beam shapes.
