Laser Beam Products, a UK-based manufacturer of infrared mirrors, has appointed Melbourne-based Industrial Laser as its sole Australasian distributor.
Industrial Laser is a supplier to Australian and New Zealand industry, and specialises in independent service and support to high power CO2 and YAG laser users. The company has relied upon the technical know-how of optical design and manufacture supplied by Laser Beam Products for almost two decades. However, it is Industrial Laser's interest in modelling software, produced by Laser Beam Products that has cemented the relationship. The software is used to calculate Gaussian laser beam propagation through optical systems, in order to adjust and specify beam expanders.
