Spectrum Metrology has announced that it is to become the exclusive UK distributor of a range of industrial non-contact metrology systems manufactured by German company Dr Schneider Messtechnik.
Originally established as an optics company in 1947, Dr Schneider Messtechnik measuring units are being used nowadays throughout the world in industries such as automotive, machine tool, electrical, plastics, Formula 1 and calibration services. Many leading companies in the aircraft industry measure today with Schneider Messtechnik machines.
Besides non-contact technology for measuring projectors, Dr Heinrich Schneider combines optical and tactile measuring technologies in their coordinate measuring units. Schneider's powerful yet intuitive Saphir software, used for programming measurements and reports, is compatible with all Schneider measurement systems.
