Coherent has introduced the Obis Core LS laser. The Obis Core LS offers the reliability and performance of Coherent’s Optically-Pumped Semiconductor Laser (OPSL) technology in a new, scaled-down package optimised for analytical instrumentation of all kinds.
The Obis Core LS measures 52mm x 27mm x 12mm - a volume reduction of 84 per cent relative to the standard Obis - yet delivers output power and beam quality at a variety of biologically-useful wavelengths ranging from 488nm to 594nm.
