Stanford Research has launched its SR475 laser shutter and the SR470 and SR474 laser shutter controllers.
The SR475 shutter is designed specifically to minimise vibrations on optical tables and has a unique built-in closed loop DSP control soft-close system. This system precisely guides the shutter blade between open and closed positions, never encountering physical stops, leaving optical tables disturbance-free.
There are two controller options available, the SR470, which provides timing signals to a single shutter head, or the multi-channel SR474 which can drive up to four shutter heads, and is controlled by external timing signals. The SR475, SR470 and SR474 are available now in the UK from Lambda Photometrics.
