Romaldas Antanavičius

Romaldas Antanavičius, a Senior Laser Engineer at Ekspla, has just finished developing the PT277-XIR picosecond laser, which is suitable for spectroscopy and material detection in the mid-IR wavelength range. The laser won a bronze Innovators’ Award and was nominated for the Prism Award.
With Ekspla, Antanavičius was also involved in the European Union-funded Pammoth project for the development of a tunable-wavelength nanosecond laser radiation source. Ekspla’s laser, Antanavičius says, produced record pulse energies of tunable-wavelength nanosecond pulses.
