Luxinar (booth 4480)
Luxinar has added LXR 100, its first femtosecond laser, to its existing product portfolio of sealed CO2 laser sources. The ultrashort laser has improved materials processing. The extremely short pulse width of the laser virtually eliminates heat diffusion to the surroundings of the processed region, which minimises the formation of a heataffected zone (HAZ), enabling ultra-high precision micro- and nanofabrication of various components.
