Telops expands into Canada with High Speed Imaging deal

High Speed Imaging is now distributing Telops infrared cameras and hyperspectral imaging systems for the defence, security, environmental and oil and gas markets in Canada.

Telops infrared opto-electronic systems and cooled infrared cameras such as its FAST-IR 1000 and HD-IR 1280 products will be distributed by High Speed Imaging. Up to now High Speed Imaging has sold products that operate in the visible wavelength, serving the military, university, research and development, sports, and movie production sectors.

Paul Chabot, Telops’ sales and marketing vice president, said, ‘We are extremely pleased that High Speed Imaging has agreed to represent us in Canada. High Speed Imaging is a well-known and established company in the high speed imaging market. This will undoubtedly extend our reach in Canada.’

The agreement, formally signed on 21 September, will lead to the promotion of Telops high performance infrared cameras and the development of its business relationships and service in Canada.
