Limo has added a 1,470nm version to its standard product portfolio of compact diode lasers, featuring output power of 12W and 25W, with further customised types available at more than 100W.
This product line is suited to medical solutions in modern surgery. A high absorption in water at this special wavelength enables user-friendly operation in surgical applications. The size of the housing has been minimised, providing a fully-equipped product in a compact size. A protection window, fibre-contact switch, monitor diode and pilot laser are already integrated. The product can also be used to pump Er:YAG lasers.
