The Cropscan 2000BF bio-fuels analyser from NIR Technology Systems is a near infrared transmission spectrophotometer for measuring starch, protein, oil and moisture in cereal grains, oil seeds, sugar cane and sugar beats. It can also measure liquid samples such as fermentation media, ethanol and bio-diesel.
The Cropscan 2000BF uses a moving sample cell to collect spectra over a wide sample area and supports a range of sample cells for whole grains and seeds, slurries and liquids. Calibrations have been developed for measuring starch in corn and wheat, oil in soybean and glycerine in biodiesel.
