Edmund Optics has begun to offer standard, off-the-shelf infrared optical components specifically tailored for use in the defence industry.
EO's line up of standard IR components includes lenses, windows, filters, prisms, polarisers, and beamsplitters in a variety of substrates, including CaF2, Ge, ZeSe and sapphire. The IR windows product family is also available in MgF2, ZnS and silicon substrates.
