Ophir Optronics has introduced the new PE9-F Pyroelectric Detector. Measuring very low pulse energies, the PE9-F Pyroelectric Detector has a maximum pulse width of 0.5µs and measures a maximum pulse rate up to 20KHz.
The PE9-F provides pulse energy measurements from 0.3uJ to 1mJ. Spectral response with metallic absorber is 0.19-12µm with energy scales of 1mJ, 200µJ, 20µJ and 2 µJ. Average power for the PE9-F is up to 2W, with maximum average power density of 50W/cm2. The PE9-F operates with Ophir’s Nova 11 and USB interface only.
