Laser Components has introduced a new generation of polymer filters for laser safety eyewear. Previously, lenses offering protection levels of L6 for CW and L8 for pulsed lasers at 1,064 and 532nm were only available in a glass eyewear option, but the company's new polymer filters are able to offer this standard of protection. The lenses are fitted to the company's XC frame, which is lightweight and comfortable.
The two filter options currently available cover a wide range of wavelengths from the UV to NIR, and meet EN 207:2009, ANSI 136.1, and ANSI Z87+ (high impact) safety standards.
