Laser Components is now offering a range of laser light conversion screens, covering power levels from the UV to NIR.

The company’s LDT-1064BG, LDT1064C, LDT1064CL and LDT-1064M high-power conversion screens, display their model number on the hand grip. The active element measures 23 x 23mm and is mounted onto a hand piece measuring 100 x 25mm. This allows users to insert the active element into the path of the laser beam without the risk of exposing a hand. This range of conversion screens is for laser engineers converting invisible 1064nm light to 550nm green light. The ceramic active element can withstand 10kW/cm2 of incident CW laser radiation in contrast to low-power cards that allow up to 5W/cm2 of incident CW light.
