SPRi-Plex II

Horiba Scientific has introduced the SPRi-Plex II surface plasmon resonance imaging system, with applications in label-free bioaffinity analysis. The surface plasmon resonance imaging technology developed for the company's system adds high-throughput, real-time kinetic and affinity studies to biomolecule arrays.

Horiba states that unlike traditional channel SPR, its SPRi-Plex II uses specialised and flexible SPRi bio-chip 2D arrays and imaging techniques to produce sensitive and fast multiplexed results. In a single experiment different parameters can be studied and compared; different biomolecules, concentrations, negative control, affinity constant, real time kinetic curves, surface imaging and surface coverage (pg/mm2), all at the touch of a button.
