Edmund Optics has introduced Techspec OD 6 multi-notch filters for use with applications that use multi-line or multiple Nd:YAG lasers.
The filters are fabricated using hard coated plasma deposition technology, which gives high performance and durability. They achieve greater than 90 per cent transmission in their pass band and offer blocking of greater than 6.0 optical density at the specified laser wavelength.
Common applications include medical or cosmetic laser systems, tattoo removal, particle image velocimetry, planar laser-induced fluorescence, light detection and ranging, and environmental monitoring.
The filters offer a transmission range from 325-1,200nm. They are available in 12.5, 25 and 50mm diameters with centre wavelengths of 355 and 532nm, 355 and 1,064nm, as well as 355, 532 and 1,064nm.
