Verdi G

Share this on social media:

Coherent has two new Verdi G lasers that are the first of this product family to offer single longitudinal mode (SLM) output.

The new Verdi G SLM-Series deliver a linewidth of <5MHz, which corresponds to a coherence length of tens of metres. They are offered with a choice of 2W and 5W of output power at 532nm, with SLM output expected at other wavelengths soon. Verdi G SLM lasers are based on optically-pumped semiconductor laser technology, which is characterised by low noise and a small platform.

Verdi G SLM lasers are targeted at applications where narrow linewidth and/or long coherence length are critical requirements. These include various types of interferometry and holography, especially those involving long path lengths.
