Sanyo has launched a low-noise laser module in its popular DLX range of 532nm DPSS TEC laser modules, available from Photonic Products. With an output power of 10mW and rms noise level of 0.5 per cent, the DLX-9756-11 green laser module is designed for demanding bio-medical and instrumentation applications.
The laser module is compact and efficient, measuring 20mm diameter by 50.5mm length, and have integral thermo-electric control that enables stable operation over a wide range of temperatures between 0 to +50°C. This provides the constant optical performance and wavelength precision necessary for demanding industrial and laboratory applications, such as laser marking and levelling, patient alignment, bio-analysis, and flow cytometry.
