Laser Components has released V4.1 of its WinSPF software for the SPF-290S sunscreen protection factor analyser.
Used by Boots, Avon, Estee Lauder, L'Oreal, Procter & Gamble and Pfizer, the SPF-290S measures the UVB and UVA spectral regions of sun creams, cosmetics and fabrics to ascertain their sun protection value value. Also available is a new sample assembly locator plate for users of manual SPF-290S models and the availability of new audio visual training aids.
The latest version of the SPF-290S software, V4.1 includes the following new features, the automatic loading of the Colipa spreadsheet during installation; calculations and display screens in compliance with the AATTC-183 fabric test method; UVA protection factor and erythemal protection factor calculations; and an updated help system.
