Célia Millon is recognised for her dynamic entrepreneurship at RayVen, a manufacturer of ultrafast lasers. 

Her bold decision to leave the lab to build a commercial product from scratch – “without a clear roadmap but with conviction”, she says – meant learning to pitch, to hire, to negotiate, as well as to build belief in a vision. RayVen is building a new class of ultrafast laser systems operating at 2µm, specifically designed for next-generation semiconductor and advanced materials processing.
