Gaurav Jain is R&D Manager at Pilot Photonics, a Dublin-based designer and builder of laser and photonic integrated circuit (PIC)-based products. 

The company’s innovations enable single-chip photonic integrated circuits with comb-enhanced capabilities at wafer scale. Dr Jain’s validation work has included critical technologies such as the world’s first low linewidth and fast switching tunable laser, as well as, currently, the company’s integrated comb laser assembly (iCLA).
