Jenoptik now offers quick turn silicon optics to future partners.
The new standard solutions will allow customers to test development systems quickly and get to market with solutions in a fraction of the time required in the past. The three design offerings include: diode couplers, diode collimators and fibre collimators, which will allow future partner solutions on many platforms in optical data transfer applications.
The commercial off the shelf (COTS) collimators and couplers are designed to maximise performance in fibre and diode applications. These lenses will be available in volumes as low as 100 to provide benchmark testing, and up to hundreds of thousands for volume production.
