Lambda Research Corporation has announced a new distribution partner for its TracePro products.
Effective 1 April 2008, APIC, Alpha Precision Instrumentation, is a distributor of TracePro and OSLO products in Taiwan and China. Effective immediately, APIC will offer TracePro and OSLO products in this region as well as provide technical support to existing TracePro and OSLO customers and conduct TracePro and OSLO training classes.
TracePro is a software tool for modelling and analysing the propagation of light in imaging and non-imaging opto-mechanical systems. Optical design software OSLO (Optics Software for Layout and Optimisation of optical systems) is used to determine the optimum sizes and shapes of the elements in optical systems in cameras, consumer products, communications systems, military/space applications, scientific instruments, etc. In addition, it is used to simulate the performance of optical systems, and to develop specialised software tools for optical design, testing, and manufacturing.
