Laser Components has introduced the SemiNex high power 1350nm laser products, available in raw bars, chips, sub-mounts and fibre-coupled packages.
The 1350nm wavelength is advantageous in a number of markets including medical applications. Lipid, acne and wrinkle reduction procedures are some of the first to take advantage of this new technology.
Laser sources with 19 emitter bars exceed 40W CW. The slope efficiency is greater than 40 per cent. Single emitter 1350nm sub-mounts yield 6W CW power, and fibre-coupled products provide 4.8W CW power.
