808nm Fabry Perot laser diode and BAL-670

Eagleyard Photonics has released its Fabry-Perot Laser at 808nm. The laser diode is ideal for diffractive optical element (DOE)-based sensors in the area of surface measurements and inspections.

The single transverse mode and the beam characteristic enables the generation of pin sharp patterns. RoHS compliant and hermetically sealed butterfly packages with beam collimation optics are suitable for integration into industrial sensors. The wavelength of 808nm and the pulse mode operation with pulse lengths up to 10ms are aligned to the characteristics of CCD sensors.

The company has also launched two Broad Area Lasers at 670nm, delivering 2W peak power under pulse mode and 1.5W under CW mode conditions.

The CW operated 1W version built on a C-Mount is targeting applications where optimised heat dissipation is essential. The pulsed version comes in a hermetically sealed TO-package and is suited to applications with extreme environmental requirements.
