Advanced Optical Technology (AOT) has extended its product range of short pulse (1ns) solid-state TEM00 oscillators.
The AOT-YAG-10QE is an E-O Q-switched oscillator that doubles pulse energy to >150uJ at kHz rates.
It is targeted at those laser applications that don’t need the highest repetition-rates but would benefit from greater pulse energy and peak power.
The new oscillator can be used with the company’s standard harmonic modules and achieve conversion of >40 per cent to 532nm, >30 per cent to 355nm and >20 per cent to 266nm. The laser is a very cost-effective solution for customers as it avoids the need of an amplifier to achieve the target performance.
