The new low power, CW Compass 115M-15 green laser from Coherent provides excellent beam characteristics in terms of mode quality (M² less than 1.2), power stability and noise (less than 0.5 per cent rms). It has a long lifetime of greater than 20,000 hours. It is suitable for demanding applications in bioinstrumentation, graphic arts, inspection and metrology.
The laser is easily integrated into systems. It operates from a 5V power source, and features conductive cooling. It can be controlled and monitored through either an analogue or digital interface.
