Heraeus Noblelight has introduced its new D2plus model deuterium-based light sources for analytical applications such as UV/visible spectrometry and HPLC or UHPLC. The D2plus lamps offer high throughput and precision with lifetimes of up to 2,000 hours and low optical noise.
The deuterium lamps are available with 0.5 and 1.0mm apertures, and include the company's Enhanced Lifetime Performance (ELP) technology, which guarantees 50 per cent more initial intensity and more than twice the residual intensity of conventional deuterium lamps, allowing fast and high accuracy measurements even at the end of the lamp's life.
