Akela Laser has announced the release of its single and multi-channel laser diode modules in wavelengths from 635nm to 1950nm.
These modules offer integrated cooling and drive electronics for plug-and-play use. Suitable for both research and development, and original equipment manufacturers’ applications, they are designed for 100 micron, 0.22NA fibres and provide up to 2W continuous wave per channel. Future product releases will include increasingly higher power levels as well as modules designed for the medical market with built-in accessories such as photodetectors, aiming beams, blast shields and fibre sensors.
