Photonics Industries International has released a line of pulsed diode pumped lasers.
The model DP10 produces 8mJ pulse energies in the infrared (IR) (at 1,064nm) with 8ns pulse widths operating at a repetition rate from single shot up to 200Hz, while still maintaining TEM00 mode quality.
This new line of pulse pumped lasers are also available in green (532nm), UV (355nm) or DUV (266nm). These IR, green, and UV wavelengths can also be blended for novel material processing applications. This laser is compact and air-cooled with power consumption of less than 60W, as compared to a traditional pulsed, lamp-pumped laser with water-cooling.
Applications for this DP series laser include: FPD circuit repair, cavity ring down spectroscopy, laser induced breakdown spectroscopy, LIDAR, laser induced fluorescence, aerospace, military, laser cleaning, PIV, pulsed laser deposition, acoustoptic non destructive testing. The line will be distributed by Laser Lines.
