Duetto 320-xxx

UniKLasers is expanding its CW single-frequency diode-pumped solid-state laser series towards the UV by introducing a new model at 320nm. The Duetto 320-xxx, with output power levels up to 250mW, is the ideal candidate to replace helium cadmium lasers, which are considered to be bulky and inefficient.

The laser head can be cooled sufficiently by air convection, without other provisions such as a chiller or a fan. The lasers offer a beam quality with an M2 below 1.1, a beam divergence below 0.5mrad (half angle), very low intensity noise below 0.1 per cent (10Hz-10MHz) and an output power stability of +/- 1 per cent (over four hours). Standard range models from 10mW to 150mW output power are available right now, higher power models up to 250mW are available on request. The foot print of Duetto 320 is ideal for space constrained applications – the entire system (laser head and controller) fits into a laptop sleeve.

Single frequency 320nm is a long awaited wavelength for applications in spectroscopy, biotechnology, analytics and semiconductor inspections. Processes such as biological fluorescence, holography, Raman spectroscopy, photoluminescence, rapid prototyping, lithography and optical data storage applications would greatly benefit from a diode-pumped solid-state laser emitting at 320nm in CW single frequency.
