ES Technology has released the es CODE laser, which is a fibre laser offering low functioning costs.
The es CODE range consists of two complementary laser types allowing stationary as well as on the fly marking and coding. es CODE C300 lasers work at a power of 30W and the es CODE C100 lasers at 10W.
The lasers can mark without removing any matter, while leaving the treated surfaces totally smooth. The laser operates with a wavelength of 1,064nm and a marking field of 100 x 100mm as standard. The spot diameter is 49μm or 52μm, with a moving speed of 20 m/s-1 and a marking speed of 600 characters per second for characters of height 1mm.
