UK-based optical fibre components specialist Phoenix Photonics has unveiled two additions to its Firebird Instrumentation product range.
The Firebird Instrumentation product range was launched in September last year with the programmable four-channel polarisation controller. Using the same technology developed for the four-channel controller, the new compact Polarisation Scrambler modules are pre-programmed to provide random or scanned polarisation for any input state requiring only a simple DC bias. The EPC interface enables direct PC control of the EPC polarisation controller.
