Laser Components has introduced the Flexpoint LT series of laser modules. The modules feature a precisely machined and assembled housing from which the laser beam exits parallel to the axis of rotation of the housing. This eliminates any beam angle error.
Suitable for many alignment tasks including machine bore co-location or centring, the 1mW modules are available in a choice of wavelengths – 635nm, 650nm (red), and 532nm (green). The laser beam alignment exhibited by these devices is less than 1mm deviation at a distance of 20 metres.
The housing dimensions are 30mm (d) x 65mm (l) and the modules are driven by a voltage supply of 4.5-6VDC for the red units and 4.5-30VDC for the green, and include reverse polarity protection.
