Instrument Systems has introduced the LumiCol 1900, a high-speed 2-in-1 imaging colorimeter. It is especially designed for versatile test applications in display production lines, and combines the benefits of an RGB CMOS camera with those of the high accuracy CA-310 spot colorimeter from Konica Minolta.
Using the colorimeter as reference for the camera, it enables fast and precise display area characterisations with respect to luminance, chromaticity, contrast, or uniformity. Moreover, it offers typical spot colorimeter functionality as flicker measurements or the adjustments of white balance and gamma.
The new software LumiSuite is optimised for automated production processes or quality control, but is likewise suitable for R&D applications.
