Laser Components has announced the availability of multi-zone filters on a single substrate. Its newly enhanced capabilities enable the company to provide both robust multi-filter assemblies and multi-zone filters patterned using photo-lithography.
The new multi-zone filters can be customised for size, spectral performance, and lay-out (number and size of zones) to address customer needs for optical filters for order-sorting or multi-spectral imaging, for example. Typical coatings include anti-reflection coatings, long or short-pass filters, or band-pass filters in the wavelength range from the UV to the far infrared. All of the company’s new capabilities leverage the company's leading-edge technology to meet and exceed expectations for reliability and optical performance using hard dielectric coating technology.
