StellarNet has expanded its line of NIR spectrometers to include the NIRX-SR series.
These models cover the 0.9-2.3μm wavelength range using an InGaAs PDA detector and are available in two models; the 512 element version provides a spectral resolution of <16nm, while the 1024 high resolution model provides<8 nm for specific applications.
The NIRX-SR operates using a dual-stage TEC cooler and connects to any Windows computer via high speed USB-2.0 interface.
Applications for these instruments include liquid chemical analysis via cuvette system dip probe. Solids and powders can also be analysed using the RFX1 reflectance fixture for fast sample monitoring with little to no sample prep.
Optical spectroscopy measurements of films, glass, and plastics can also be done using the adjustable transmission fixture.
The SpectraWiz software platform is included free, which enables a variety of spectroscopy measurements including customisable programs for LabVIEW and direct operation from MS Excel (via Visual Basic Automation).
