PR-788 spectral measuring system

Share this on social media:

Photo Research recently introduced the PR-788, the newest version of its PR-74X series of spectral measuring systems.

As a spectroradiometer with an extended dynamic range of 1,000,000:1, the PR-788 is intended for research and development, quality control and production floor applications for flat panel display, automotive, aerospace and similar manufacturers. It features an internal neutral density filter, allowing users to measure higher luminance levels than previous models.

The extended dynamic range of the PR-788 provides a solution for measuring the output of a device from black to full white without having to add external attenuation or changing its optical geometry at high speeds. The device dramatically reduces the total time required to test and calibrate display products, and can be easily integrated into automated test environments.
