LIMO has released its second generation of compact refractive Gaussian-to-Top-Hat converters.
The product features an improved uniformity of the top hat region as well as a strongly increased depth of focus.
The field size amounts to 50x50µm² - and is therefore optimised for highly efficient solar cell production. In contrast to Gaussian beams, laser patterning with top hat profiles increases the throughput as well as the quality of the generated structures.
