Spectral Measurement / Goniometric System for LEDs

Gamma Scientific has launched the RadOMA-LED Goniometric System for LED angular and LED spectral measurements.

The system combines the RadOMA multi-element array technology with backside-thinned CCD detector technology, available only with Gamma’s 940 LED measurement goniometer.

The instrument has low light measurement capabilities and blue-light region sensitivity.

Designed with a high-speed USB interface, the modular instrument offers fast, accurate luminous and radiant intensity, dominant wavelength, peak wavelength, colour temperature, chromaticity, tristimulus, Lab/Luv, CRI, full-width-half-max, and beam angle, with a user-selectable half-power bandwidth for accurate binning.

The control software provides a choice of two different formats for export to Microsoft Excel automatically at the end of each measurement.

The self-calibrating system features near-perfect repeatability via Gamma’s RadOMA opto-electrical platform.

The interchangeable device operates over a wide spectral range via four models that feature millisecond measurement speed and near real-time measurements.  Spectral wavelength ranges extend from the ultraviolet to near-infrared and include extremely high sensitivity over the blue-light region of the spectrum.  The four optional modules offer detector wavelengths from 200nm to 550nm, 260nm to 900nm, 300nm to 1100nm and from 380nm to 810nm.

The goniometric system features two automated axes, including an automated axial range that eliminates the extra step of manual LED rotation associated with manual axial-range units.  Comprehensive, built-in sockets accommodate a wide variety of LED standards.
