SuperK Compact

Koheras has launched the SuperK Compact, which is an ultra-broadband source, spanning 500nm-2,000nm with a total power of 100mW.

The light is singlemoded throughout the white light spectrum and is spatially coherent. The source is ideal for the characterisation and measurement of optical fibre, FBGs and other optical components. The source is available with a standard FC-PC connector termnation or collimator and can be computer controlled via USB.

A range of filter accessories are available with the Compact to allow either selection of specific wavelengths or spectral areas, giving extra flexibility in measurement applications. The SuperK Compact is the low power member of the SuperK family and optical power in the broadband spectrum of up to 6W is available in the higher power SuperK versions of the Versa, Power and Extreme.
